Freixenet Group participates in the solidarity initiative “Cava amb Cor”

Freixenet Group has participated one more year in “Cava amb Cor”, the solidarity initiative for the benefit of Cáritas Cataluña, promoted by the Cofradía del Cava and sponsored by Josep Roca, sommelier at El Celler de Can Roca. This is a tug of 8500 bottles of a brut reserve cava bottled for the occasion, the result of the collaboration of several cavas, among which are our Freixenet, Segura Viudas and Castellblanch wineries, as well as supermarket chains, shops and distributors.

Each bottle has a sale price of 7,80€, of which the promoters will allocate € 2 of each bottle to Caritas socio-educational projects that serve children and young people in vulnerable situations throughout Catalonia.

Although the initiative was born last year, this year it has been reinforced with a new design for the “Cava amb Cor” bottle, a new image, a promotional video shot at El Celler de Can Roca with the involvement of the three well-known brothers, the web and, above all, a very special sponsor, Josep Roca. The “Cava amb Cor” will go on sale from September 6 through collaborating establishments, and also through the web cavaambcor.cat. There is also the option of making a donation for this specific campaign through the Confraria website.
