The Freixenet Group participates in “Sant Jordi at the wineries” with literature and cava on April 24

On Sunday, April 24 the second edition of a very unique initiative, Sant Jordi at the wineries, will be held. Grup Freixenet will celebrate the day of the rose and the book in a different way, opening its doors to renowned readers and writers with activities linked to literature, an initiative promoted by the Association of Cava Producers – AECAVA.

As for the centenary Freixenet winery, it will host the writer Coia Valls for the presentation of her books: “Pantera” and “Alquimia de la Vida”. On the other hand, in the emblematic estate Segura Viudas, the writer Pep Prieto will present his book: “La Dona Eterna”, both presentations will be accompanied by the book signing.

A differentiating fact is that the authors will present their novelties in natural settings surrounded by vineyards and wineries. In addition to the presentations, each activity will be complemented by a quality wine tourism proposal: cava tastings, visits to wineries, pairings of cavas with cheeses, hot chocolate, children’s activities and appetizers and gastronomic brunches between vineyards. The activities will be of a small format, outdoors and with limited places. To attend, it is necessary to reserve a place by contacting the winery or by filling out the reservation form found on the website www.santjordialscellers.com
