Freixenet triumphs at Berliner Wine Trophy

We are proud to announce that Freixenet has been awarded with gold medals at the renowned German Berliner Wine Trophy, let’s celebrate la vida! The awarded products have been the international Freixenet Spanish Wine Collection Paso Doble and Freixenet Spanish Wine Collection Sauvignon Blanc. These recognitions demonstrate, once again, the high quality of Freixenet products and the effort and talent of the teams that make them possible.

This competition has become one of the largest wine competitions in the world and the most important international wine tasting in Germany under the umbrella of the OIV. It brings together renowned producers and distributors from around the world with almost 14,000 entries a year in its winter and summer editions.

Freixenet Spanish Wine Collection Paso Doble is characterized by its special two-stage manufacturing process in which it lives up to its name. It stands out for a deep ruby ​​red colour in the glass and a fruity aroma with notes of black currant, dark plum and cherries complete the full-bodied taste profile of this red wine.

Lastly, Freixenet Spanish Wine Collection Sauvignon Blanc is a pale lemon-colour wine. It is intense, explosive and clean nose. In the mouth it is dry, refreshing and with a long finish with a tropical fruit character.
