The Freixenet Group triumphs with its cavas and wines at the CINVE contest

At Freixenet Groupwe are proud to announce that Freixenet and Segura Viudas have added new successes in the prestigious International Wine and Spirits Competition – CINVE 2022, held in Cáceres.

Specifically, the Freixenet Cavas and wines awarded with outstanding gold medals have been the sophisticated Elyssia Pinot Noir cava, which debuts a new modern, and elegant image, and the emblematic Cava that pays tribute to or cofounder Dolor Sala Freixenet Cuvée DS. Likewise, Freixenet Elyssia Gran Cuvée, which has just been relaunched with a new image, has been awarded a silver medal, together with the successful Freixenet Carta Rosé and the collection of Freixenet Seleccion Especial White and Freixenet Seleccion Especial Rosé wines.

For its part, Segura Viudas, our renowned winery with 800 years of winemaking tradition and respect for its roots, has also achieved great results with gold medals for the brand icon Segura Viudas Reserva Heredad and for the intense, complete and harmonious Cava Grand Reserva Segura Viudas Brut Vintage. Has been awarded with a silver medal Segura Viudas Brut Rosé, a delicious rosé with fruity aromas launched last year, and the fine, complex and versatile Segura Viudas Brut Reserva Cava.

The CINVE awards are a prestigious international wine and spirits competition. Its jury is made up of a wide panel of experts and professionals from the wine and cava sector, rewarding the quality, internationality, novelty, variety and experience of the products presented in the competition.
