  • The commitment to the well-being of people and the care of talent has allowed the Freixenet Group to position itself as a reference employer

The Freixenet Group, the world leader in quality sparkling wines, has been listed by Forbes magazine as one of the best 75 companies with more than 500 employees to work for in Spain. The publication, specialized in the world of business and finance, has once again drawn up the prestigious list in which a selection of the most valued companies at a national level stands out. Forbes has examined, through an in-depth Two Sigma survey, the opinions of employees from more than 2,000 companies.

The Freixenet Group has stood out for its philosophy and business strategy focused on the well-being of its professionals. That is why the Sant Sadurní d’Anoia company seeks to add value to the business and to people in each of the stages of the professional life cycle. In this sense, the cultural transformation, the implementation of organizational strategies, digitization and the development of programs have been essential to enter for the first time in one of the most reputable lists of the Spanish business fabric.

In the words of the director of Human Resources of the Freixenet Group, Cristina García Brunet: “the HR department must become a strategic partner for all the areas that make up the company. For us, the motto Celebrate Life perfectly defines our perspective, which would not be possible without the talent, commitment and effort of all the people who are part of the Freixenet Group”.

Likewise, García Brunet affirms that the key to finding harmony within the work environment lies in the balance between the implementation of a transforming culture and continuous development (lifelong learning), performance evaluation systems, the promotion of inclusive leadership that allow empowerment, and the development of two-way communication channels. In short, “caring for talent and pampering the happiness of workers through specific programs and a “living” cultural transformation that promote personal and professional development”, emphasizes Cristina García Brunet. Among them, the company’s Health and Well-being Program stands out, awarded as “good practice” by Foment del Treball.

In line with this philosophy, the company has promoted the Freixenet e-Academy in recent years, which, together with the corporate leadership program, has the objective of promoting employability and the transmission of knowledge in all areas and levels.

The Freixenet Group has also launched a flexible teleworking policy that allows employees to work up to four days a week from home, without restrictions and offering the comfort of being able to adapt to different situations according to each need.
