Gold for Segura Viudas Organic Brut and silver for Freixenet Elyssia Gran Cuvée in this prestigious international competition

Two cavas from the Freixenet Group have been awarded medals at the prestigious International Competition of Wines and Spirits – CINVE 2020. Segura Viudas Organic Brut has been recognized with a gold medal while Freixenet Elyssia Gran Cuvée has obtained a silver medal in this prestigious international competition. These recognitions once again demonstrate the quality and success of the Freixenet Group products.

Segura Viudas Organic Brut is awarded again after obtaining a medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. This organic cava has been created in perfect harmony and fidelity to the winery’s responsibility for sustainability and its centuries-old agricultural tradition. Its aromas are intense and fruity with notes of citrus and green apple. On the palate it is fresh, lively, with a great balance between fruity character and a few hints of pastry.

For its part, Freixenet Elyssia Gran Cuvée is a modern and sweet brut designed for lovers of the Chardonnay variety that gives off pleasant aromas of acacia flower and honey on an elegant background of ripe fruits. Elyssia Gran Cuvée is recognized again after recently winning medals at Decanter World Wine Awards and Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
