Segura Viudas’ success at the 2025 Vinari Awards

From the Freixenet Group we are proud to announce that our winery Segura Viudas, a historic farmhouse with roots in the world of wine for 800 years, has added new medals in the prestigious Premis Vinari, the event with the greatest impact in the Catalan wine world in its 13th edition.

The Vinari of Gold Award has been awarded to Segura Viudas Brut in the category of white sparkling wines. In this same category, the Cava Segura Viudas Lavit Brut Nature has also been awarded the Vinari of Silver Award. Segura Viudas Homenaje Rosado has also obtained silver in the category of rosé wines.

For more than a decade, the Vinari Awards have distinguished the good work and progression of Catalan wineries in the field of wines and sparkling wines, becoming the main competition in the sector at the Catalan level. More than 250 medals are awarded at a gala broadcast live on television on Channel 33 by members of the jury. The objectives of the Vinari Awards are multiple, but they converge when it comes to connecting the seas of vineyards that dot the entire Catalan territory with society and consumers who will appreciate and value them.
